MY NAME IS MACKENZIE
I had always dreamed about my wedding day as a young girl and what it might be like. It wasn’t until I got engaged and we started touring our new city of Austin, Texas for the right venue that my vision really started coming to life. I learned during the planning process of my own wedding that I am extremely detail-oriented with a keen eye for perfection, personalization, and polish. My wedding day was everything I had dreamed of. We had a wonderful wedding planner who did a great job and was a shining example of what a professional and organized wedding planner should be.
After I helped my sister with her wedding, many family members noted that my personality, skillsets, and attention to detail would make me a perfect fit for the wedding planning business. I looked internally at my passions and my skillsets and realized how much I enjoyed everything about the planning, budgeting, designing, and coordinating of event planning.
With a shining example in mind of my own wedding planner and the support of my family and friends, I decided to start a wedding and events planning company. Events by Mackenzie was born. The weddings I have planned and/or coordinated have been successes.
My primary goal is to make your vision come to life while keeping logistics and budget in mind! I want to ensure that the planning process is fun and stress-free for you. You can rely on my attention to detail and an eye for design to take your breath away when you see the ceremony site or reception hall for the first time on your wedding day.
